Cougars men’s golf finishes fifth at AMC Championships

The Columbia College men’s golf team placed fifth out of eight teams Tuesday at the American Midwest Conference Championship in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The Cougars finished the two-day tournament 99 shots over par. William Woods University won the tournament and shot 77 strokes better than Columbia, finishing 22 over.

Freshman Ben Charles was the Cougars’ top finisher, shooting 17 over par.
